Ricarico i.g.t. Rosso 2006 Late harvest Primitivo and Negroamaro grapes are used to make this unique wine using the ‘Ricarico’ method – similar to that used for ripasso-style wines. The result is a concentrated, intense wine that combines the opulent velvetiness of the great northern wines with the earthy warmth of Southern Italy. Ricarico is an enticingly dark red with garnet rim, the aroma offers complex notes of berry conserves and cooked plums, licorice, chocolate and sweet spices such as nutmeg and vanilla. The mouth feel is powerful and full bodied with soft ripe tannins, enhanced by a long, chewy finish with hints of hazelnuts. This superb wine is ideal with game, rich meat dishes and mature cheeses. Alcohol volume: 14.5%. Serve at: 60-64°F.

Esclusivo Salento Rosso ‘Gold Label’ “A noble wine aged in oak casks. This very special red offers hints of vanilla and leather that make it unique and exclusive.” Gianfranco Repellino – Enologist. The color is a deep ruby red showing gleams of garnet. The aroma is intriguing with rich fruit notes as well as a hint of vanilla and leather denoting barrel age. To the taste it is full-bodied with firm tannins, and a concentrated ripe red fruit flavor with a hint of spice on the finish. This wine is perfect with meat or game dishes, especially if they are served with rich gravies and sauces. Alcohol volume: 13%. Serve at: 64°F.

Barbaresco d.o.c.g. ‘Raggiante’ 2005 Barbaresco is one of Italy’s most renowned red wines. It is made carefully from perfectly ripe grapes that have been manually harvested in selected vineyards in three villages within a few miles of the medieval hamlet of Barbaresco. This fine wine is then skilfully crafted to enhance the particular aromas and flavors that this special land brings out. The color is a garnet red with brick overtones, the aroma is intense and reminiscent of wild rosehip, licorice, and mature cherries. The flavor is dry, austere and yet fine with a persistent note of sweet spices on the finish. Enjoy with rich meat dishes and sauces or fine cheeses. Alcohol volume: 13.5%. Serve at: 60-64°F.
