The original home of the Giordano family, this area is as famous for its prized white truffles as for its fine wines such as our Barbera.
Italy's main basil-growing region where cool winters and hot summers make it the ideal climate for growing the ingredients for the classic pesto sauce and Black Olive Paté.
The northerly location of the Venetian region means it's where some of Italy's most subtle and complex white wines are produced - wines like the Pinot Grigio delle Venezie, Soave and Prosecco - Italy's favorite aperitif.
The area prides itself on being Italy's gastronomic capital. It's home to Modena, where the finest Balsamic vinegar is produced and to Parma, which gives name to our delicious Risotto alla Parmigiana.
For many this is the 'real' Italy where olive groves yield the finest oil and vineyards grow the rich, red Chianti grapes and from where our "Tuscany" Super Tuscan comes from. Home of our Cantucci almond cookies and our Lemon Amaretti cookies.
This hilly region is located on the eastern coast of central Italy. Mountainous on one side and Adriatic beaches on the other. The coastal climate produces structured white wines that match the local seafood perfectly and soft, fruity reds, like our Montepulciano d'Abruzzo, that are perfect wines for grilled meats.
The countryside around Rome is extremely fertile thanks to the presence of long extinct volcanoes and it is home of our spicy Arrabbiata sauce, Black Olive Bruschetta and delicious Sundried Tomatoes with Capers.
The gulf of Naples, Mount Vesuvius, the island of Capri, the Amalfi coast, all these are expressions of this wonderfuly scenic region, whose cooking (pizza included) is justly famous. This is where our Fusilli Tricolore pasta originates and is used in the local cuisine with rich tomato based sauces.
In 1998 the Giordano family took over a winery at Torricella where today they produce the rich and fruity Sangiovese and earthy Primitivo red wines.
The dry and hot summers give the grapes from Sicily an intense flavor, and wines like Sicilian Chardonnay, Nero d'Avola and Syrah have an almost universal appeal.
