2 x Syrah Sicilia Rosso i.g.t. 2007

The hot, dry summers of Sicily provide the perfect growing environment for the Syrah grape. This rich, dark-colored wine offers an intense bouquet with hints of ripe fruit and a typical note of black pepper. It is full-bodied and elegant, with a persistent spicy cherry fruit finish. The perfect wine to serve with outdoor meals and great with grilled meats and spicy sauces. Serve at 60¼-64¼F.

2x Inzolia Sicilia Bianco i.g.t. 2007

Inzolia is a distinctive grape variety that is native to Sicily. Here it is greatly valued for its aromatic qualities and its delicate taste and full body and structure. Giordano’s Inzolia is a delicate straw-yellow. The aroma is intense and inviting, with notes of almond blossom; the taste is dry and full-bodied with a note of nuttiness on the finish. This wine is lovely as an aperitif and perfect with any type of seafood and grilled or pan fried fish. Serve at 50°-54°F.

2 x Sangiovese Toscana 2005 "Collection"

This specialty from Tuscany is made exclusively with the Sangiovese Toscana grape, the variety used in almost all of the region’s most famous appellations. This wine is a deep ruby with purple overtones. The intense aroma hints at violets. The taste is well balanced and fruity with a soft, velvety mouth feel. This wine is excellent with tasty Mediterranean cuisine, particularly pasta dishes with tangy sauces.

2 x Barbera Piemonte d.o.c. 2007

This renowned wine from Piedmont is produced with Barbera grapes grown on the gently sloping hills of the region. Deep ruby-red in color, with a typical fruity aroma, this well-balanced, medium-bodied wine has a distinct fruit driven flavor. This is an easy-drinking, food-friendly wine suitable with any course from starters to entrées. Vol 12%.

2 x Orvieto d.o.c. 2007

Orvieto is one of the loveliest hill towns in central Italy and lends its name to one the best-known and ancient white wines in the country. Made from Verdello, Grechetto and Trebbiano Toscano grapes, Giordano’s Orvieto has a delicate hue of straw yellow with a hint of green. The aroma is redolent of ripe fruit; the taste is dry and balanced with a fruit and almond finish. This wine is excellent with an antipasti of ham and salami, as well as with poultry dishes.
