To appreciate all the rich shades of flavor each wine has to offer, pour it in the decanter Bormioli enclosed in this hamper, a touch of elegance to add on your table!
Tuscany and Piedmont, regions where the beauty of nature merges with the presence of man, who has developed here many prestigious wines, like Sangiovese, Cortese and Barbera. They are presented in this collection in the Giordano version, excellent result of the experience and knowledge of our oenologists applied to the remarkable quality of the main ingredient.
A real pleasure for those who appreciate drinking a good wine on any occasion!
The wines offered in this unique collection make you feel the warmth and the flavors of a region whose landscape seems to be the ideal nursery for native and international vines: here the international Chardonnay can successfully grow and produce doc wines, especially in the Salento area, or the native vines like Negroamaro and Malvasia can combine with Pinot, to enrich and exalt each other’s organoleptic characteristics.
Your chance to taste and appreciate unique wines!
Apulia and Sicily, lands of extraordinarily unique climatic conditions, where vines like Sangiovese, Cabernet, Syrah and Chardonnay can quietly grow next to native vines like Negroamaro, Zinfandel/ Primitivo and Nero d’Avola, offer their best in this unique selection.
The wines of this collection are excellent first of all as meditation wines, to drink while dreaming of the blue Mediterranean Sea, yellow sand beaches, the blinding sunshine of the mezzogiorno (as the most southern part of the country is called), and meeting mythological characters while travelling together with Ulysses in his endless adventures to chase the unknown.
Enjoy! What else?
Three great wines directly from Sicily: Nero d’Avola, the native red vine by definition, cultivated both in the West and in the East of Sicily, appreciated all over the world for its elegant but strong character.
Syrah Nero d’Avola, is an excellent wine where the complex aroma of Nero d’Avola, with delicate notes of violet and spices, berries, chocolate and leather, meet the intense aromas of pepper and chocolate, followed by blueberries, tobacco, with the final of licorice, rhubarb and cocoa typical of Syrah.
To complete the collection, a great white wine: Chardonnay. This vine originates in Burgundy but in Sicily, land of extraordinarily unique climatic conditions, it has been able to express particular characteristics, creating wines with sumptuous organoleptic and sensory characteristics.
Just three hints about this selection:
- it contains 12 bottles
- of red wines and just a white wine
- of various vintages.
And Barolo obviously! The king of wines, one of the most prestigious Italian wines, produced in Piedmont and to be exact, in the area between the small towns of Barolo, La Morra and Grinzane Cavour, this one very close to the valley where Giordano Cellars are located.
We leave it to you to find out what is further contained in this selection, which will for sure not disappoint your expectations as wine estimator.
A selection including a chilly white wine like Garganega Pinot Grigio from Veneto, excellent for a pleasant aperitif and perfect companion to cold starters, light pasta dishes and seafood.
For the red wine lovers, a great variety of meal ‘companions’, with the harmonious Barbera d’Alba and Toscana Vespero, well structured yet suitable by soups, cheese, charcuterie, while Barbera d’Asti Collection and Vei Cavour, express the best of their organoleptic qualities, further enriched by oak aging, if enjoyed with flavorsome cheese, rich red meat dishes and grilled meat.
And what about the southern Italy wines like Primitivo di Manduria from Apulia, and the two sicilians Nero d’Avola and Syrah Nero d’Avola, excellent as meditation wines as well as whole meal wines!
